As someone who grew up playing competitive sports, I’ve always loved being active. Studying and practicing healthy habits and fitness is a natural fit and something I’ve thoroughly enjoyed for over 30 years. Through the seasons of life I’ve experienced some challenges that have brought great perspective and shifts in how I approach health and wellness. It’s become quite clear that we need a balance of exercise, nutritious foods, quality sleep, stress management, connection with others, mindset shifts, a support system and a variety of other strategies to ensure overall, positive well-being. All while keeping it enjoyable and doable within the busy-ness of life! This realization prompted me to dive deep into behavior change strategies that support living - and sustaining - a healthy lifestyle.
My passion, and strengths, are guiding and empowering you to do those things that allow you to enjoy life fully. To feel strong in your body, to thrive in the lifestyle you choose, so you can show up in life as the best version of yourself. Whatever that means for YOU. Let’s define it and get after it!
As your Personal Trainer and Behavior Change Specialist, I’ll meet you right where you’re at and guide you toward setting realistic and meaningful goals that will be the foundation in designing a program for improving strength and fitness as well as allowing you to make progress toward your long term vision of health and well-being.
