I wake every day with one goal in mind: To be a better person today than I was yesterday, and to use my strength to strengthen my community. For me, movement is more than just a passion, it is medicine. When I move my body—regardless of whether I’m running, weightlifting, or just exploring my neighborhood on foot—I find solace and a connection to the world around me. I truly believe that with my philosophy of integrating personal fitness into a mind, body, and spiritual experience, I can use my passion to bring health and balance to the lives of my community members.
While working in law enforcement, my main goal was to keep my community safe from the unknown. The more integrated I became in my community, the more I realized that I could go beyond safety and truly make a difference in the wellness of peoples’ lives. By drawing on personal experience to relate to people struggling with diet and food insecurity, immobility caused by injury, and overcoming mental health setbacks, I believe that I can reach people and help lead them to healthier, happier lives. My hope is to inspire those I work with and to gain their trust as I journey with them every step of the way.
Leading by example, I want to bring healthy change to the members of my community by encouraging self-confidence and self-love. A healthy community begins with me, and if I can use my unique knowledge and experience to positively change the life of even just one person, I believe that is a difference toward a better future.
